Books the LadyGang Needs to Read in 2017

I am probably the biggest book nerd around. I have loved to read my entire life. My favorite way to spend a day off is to snuggle in bed with a giant cup of tea and devour an entire book in one sitting. I read everywhere, on airplanes, in the bath, waiting in line at the doctors. I usually cannot fall asleep at night without reading a few chapters first.

I want to try to read even MORE in 2017. It's on of my biggest goals. I plan to read a book a day on my upcoming vacation in March!

I love reading, because for some reason other peoples words and stories tend to bring out my creative side. I prefer to read true stories, biographies, essays or memoirs. I love the human struggle and human condition. I often write down passages or quotes from my favorite books into my journals or phone.

Is being a book worm really nerdy? Probably. Is it embarrassing when asked what my hobbies are to say cleaning drawers, pinteresting dream homes and reading? Yes. Do I care? Nope! I like books more than I like people, and I am okay with that.

On that note, here are a few of my favorites that I read this year that you should try out:

1. You'll Grow Out Of It - Jessi Klein
