#ITSJUSTMYFACE: Brow Edition
If I had a dollar for every time someone left the comment #BrowGoals on my instagram, I would have 10 dollars. But, I want to let you in on a little secret. I wasn't always the brow-tastic babe you listen to on The LadyGang Podcast. Nope, I was an overplucked, weird shaped, always expressive, barely there brow girl. I'm not even sure what shape I had, but it wasn't cute. Let me share.
I used to be this:
I used to be THIS!
and sadly, THIS was my old headshot:
The point of my story, is to show you that brows can grow back, and then can become the full, beautiful lush face-framers that you deserve. But, it takes some work. Here is how I did it:
First of all I let my brows grow fully for 12 weeks. It's hard, and you feel really ugly. I used a hair regrowth serum on top of brows before bed, and I didn't touch a single hair.
Then, I enlisted the help of Becca's brow master, Debbie Dexter at Brows Studio City. First, she ONLY tweezes, it's the best way to have a natural looking brow that is easy to maintain yourself.
Here is my natural brow after. No matter what, for them to look their best I always have to color them in, so don't be upset if your don't look perfect without the help of some pencil!
One thing I have learned is that less is more. Less hairdye, less plucking, less makeup, less fussing. With great brows you can do so much less, but still look really well put together and chic. It's worth finding a brow professional that you trust and it's worth the hellish grow out period.
Good luck brow-queens! Remember to tag me in your #BrowGoals photos on
